Mine says shipped Dec 7 th ! No tracking info never again was suppose to be delivered on release date !! I got one mad kid !!

I am having the same problem. I can understand it with smaller titles but with big games like Cyberpunk 2077 we should get on or close to release day but I am being told to wait until the 23rd for mine and I pre-ordered my copy almost a year ago!

I've bought dozens of items from retailers like Amazon and Target during this pandemic and every single item has arrived on time or earlier. It's pretty dissapointing to me that the one time I bought from Best Buy, my order was pushed back by almost a week and then delayed for an indefinite period. This is made even worse by the fact that Best Buy only started shipping my item after I was supposed to already have it, along with this being one of the purchases I have most looked forward to. 

I feel entirely confident that a more trustworthy retailer like Amazon could keep their promise and ship Cyberpunk 2077 to me the next day if I ordered from them. However, I no longer have the option to cancel my order and because of how inconsistent the shipping has been, don't know whether my order will be arriving tomorrow or the next month. 

My main game order was supposed to arrive on Thursday, but was first postponed until Friday, then Saturday. It was then delayed indefinitely. The steelbook that came with it was also supposed to arrive on Thursday, but has been postponed by a whopping 2 weeks until the 23rd. No other retailer has ever made a shipping error this bad in my liftetime.

What happens now that I've been tricked by a false shipping date (I've also emailed FedEx and they've stated that it was impossible for them to ship by the date that Best Buy promised) and then scammed to the point where I can't get a refund or cancel my order? Will I be compensated for my wasted time or the failed promises? Will I at least get some information regarding how the order was screwed up this bad? 

I doubt that I will be ordering from Best Buy again, but I hope that Best Buy will at least TRY to help me after stealing my time and money.

The bizarre thing is that Best Buy locations across the country are clearly well-stocked.  bestbuy.com says that if I were to place an order now (for the Xbox, anyway) that they could deliver it to me as soon as Tuesday.

So why is the preorder I placed literally a year and a half ago still in limbo?  I'd get it if Best Buy didn't receive anywhere near their allotment and there just weren't enough copies to go around.  I'd get it the game shipped but wasn't able to arrive on time with everything that's going on.

But to say that new orders can immediately be fulfilled, but preorders can't be fulfilled for another couple of weeks (if that?) defies logic.  And at least if Twitter's any indication, I'm far from the only one.

Unexpectedly for a Sunday, the steelbook arrived on my doorstep this morning.  If only I had a game to go with it!

Same happened to me... I posted on here and they deleted my post.  I also PMed their mods and have yet to hear back.  These boards used to be a lot better and I would receive a reply within a few hours.  It is definitely disappointing consider how much I spend at Bestbuy (I'm an Elite Plus member...)

Same thing has happened to me. My game was sent out on 12/01/2020 then a return was requested vis Best Buy on 12/03/2020. I tracked the return of which they received on 12/10/202. They have yet to send me an email to confirm it being sent out nor can they offer any other info on it. How can this be allowed? Also contacted customer service twice and was suppose to get a call back twice from a supervisor and still have not. I seriously cannot believe that Best Buy is unwilling to provide any compensation for this. So you really think anyone would have pre ordered this game from you if they knew this was going to happen? No. You need to fix this and compensate us for this ridiculous customer service.

An additional update on my order: it's still delayed after two days with ZERO updates.

There has been no contact from Best Buy about the delay at all, whether through an email or text. I've contacted support again but the best that they could tell me in response to when my delay will be over was "I don't know and I say that as someone who's waiting on their copy too."

I definitely would've preordered from a different place if I knew this would happen and it's absolutely abysmal that they haven't done anything or reached out, especially considering just how many people are affected by this, you guys included. If you make a shipping promise and completely mess up, it's common sense that you should make up for or AT LEAST acknowledge your mistake. 

Super disappointing experience that's only getting worse as more days pass.

My collector's edition is delayed as well and it's been sitting there for days. I am just afraid it will get cancelled. Is yours standard or collector's edition?

Mine is a Windows standard edition that already shipped. If yours is delayed but already shipped, I think it should probably be fine.

I apologize if this has been discussed and answered but my order of Cyberpunk 2077 Collectors editions for PC and PS4 were both shipped early. PC version arrived before release date but PS4 version was recalled back and it shows it was returned to sender and refund issued.

However, I still haven't received the refund despite the order detail page showing refund has been issued for 5 days now.

Any idea when the refund is going to hit my bank?
