Does anyone know if Bestbuy will offer a refund for Cyberpunk 2077 physical copies?

If the game is opened refunds are not accepted.
But if you received it why would you want to return it?

I had not read the story before posting about Cyberpunk and Projekt CD and Best Buy offering refunds.
So this may be a special situation. Appears the issue is with older generation consoles
However, I know a number of people who really like the game.
I would hang onto your copies and play it in a few months when they get it fixed.
I feel for Projekt CD, it must have been a huge undertaking to develop the game for 5 platforms at once.
What I could see going forward from this is game developers may opt to not develop for older platforms.

Exactly why I posed the question. We are all aware of BestBuy's policy on opened software. Figured I would check as this might be an exception item and would fall back on CD Projekt Red.

Actaully this product has been in development for a few years. Way before any discussion of a next-gen console (Series X, PS5) had ever been announced.
Earlier this year before next-gen consoles were released they announced the game, with many delays.
CD Projekt Red purposely failed to show any console images and would only show PC content. There are multiple reviews on this exact subject matter.
This is why the studio and game have been getting hammered and CD Projekt Red is giving refunds.

Well all the salad that came with the CE is still good. It is just the game that is glitchy.
And that is not Best Buys fault.
The game is really awesome. Keep what you have and wait for the developer to fix it.
The CE was obviously important to you and you would not be able to get a new one when the game is fixed.
