Charged for steelbook for order that was cancelled

I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and it included a steelbook. When I went to pickup my order from the store they only had the steelbook and not the game (they said it would be available later even though it said online that it was ready for pickup). The order for the game showed as pending until now, so I cancelled it since it appeared to be in limbo and not available.

Now, BestBuy is charging me for the steelbook itself despite the fact that the order was messed up from the start.

Re: Charged for steelbook for order that was cancelled

Hi there, tmwoog,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our community forums again. I'm sure you wanted to receive this game as quickly as possible so I can understand cancelling your order when you encountered a delay. I'd be glad to see what options we may have to assist you with this steel book.

It sounds like you may have been charged for this free steel book when this game was cancelled. Did you pickup this steel book during your visit? I'd like to take a closer look at your order to see what options are available at this time. I will need a few more details to do so.

Can you please send me a private message that includes your:

Full name

Email address

Phone number

Order number
