Upon attempting to check out with Nioh 2 Special Edition (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/nioh-2-special-edition-playstation-4/6389964.p?skuId=6389964) it tells me I cannot use a credit card that expires within 15 days of release. The release date is 03/13/20. My card expires in 2021. I successfully preordered Doom Eternal (which releases a week later) minutes ago with no issue once I removed Nioh 2 from the order.
I am really looking forward to this item and would love to order it. I'm not sure if the item description needs to be updated on the back end or what. Any assistance at all is greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure it is nothing on our end. Especially now that I know I am not alone. This is something they need to handle. The following topic shows that this has happened before and was fixed on Best Buy's end. With any luck they will fix the issue before launch.

Same thing with me. Tried standard and special editions and kept getting expiration date error. ironically, I preorder Animal Crossing for Switch that comes out a week later and had no issues
I'd really like to get this preorder in before my GCU expires next Monday

Contact your bank to make sure they are not doing something. Best Buy is in the business of making money and accepts thousands of credit card transactions a week.
