I've been told by several people over the phone that there is nothing that can be done about this. However, I still want to voice frustration about this issue. I have a $40 gift card that I would like to use on The Quarry for PS5. Having a $10 pre-order bonus is just icing on the cake. However, when I try to check out and use said gift card, I cannot. It thinks I want to use a gift card on a gift card. The system should be re-coded to fix this, or an announcement or warning should be made to customers saying that a gift card can't be used on items that include one for pre-ordering. It is very frustrating to have to choose between saving money on the item, or the promised bonus for pre-ordering.
