This evening I went to Best Buy for the borderlands in store event to pick up my pre-ordered game, your website stated: Arrive at any Best Buy store just before 9 p.m. local time, while the doors are still open, to ensure you can buy your game. When I went to pick up my game I was told that it wasn't pulled (I've had this game preordered for months), when I asked to purchase a copy instead since my pre-order wasn't pulled I was told that I could not despite driving 30 minutes to pick up this product. I was instead told I could pick it up tomorrow. While I can drive back and pick up the order tomorrow this response does little to make up for the time, energy, and gas wasted.

How about next time you let the store in Lakewood, CA know about releasing Borderlands 3, because they were not having a 9 PM release like Best Buy said they would. This has happened many times in the past. Once my GCU expires, I am never buying a game there again

Good Morning everyone,
Welcome to Borderlands 3 release day! For those of you who were able to pick up your games last night at 9:00 p.m, I'm glad to hear that the store followed their direction correctly.
For those of you who encountered resistance, or the store said they were not participating, I absolutely apologize. If you posted, but did not call out the specific store you visited, please do so. I do compile these so that we can get the information in front of the appropriate parties.
Believe it or not, we do want our gaming customers to have a positive experience with us, and making sure we are following through on these early releases is an important aspect of that experience.
