Bestbuy bunch of thieves refusing to honor FF7 return after 2 months of having it.

Best buy is some kind of sham or something I'm waiting over 2 months for my refund for Final fantasy 7 remake deluxe. I've wasted countless hours on the phone re-explaining my issue that BestBuy didn't care about sending me a damaged product but now after 2 months of constantly calling Bestbuy for updates I'm being told that my refund would post I'm being told my return won't be honored and that they can't find the order I ever made despite it showing up on my purchases. I've been told countless managers would call me and it's been escalated countless times. So if you get these types of nonsense run around please do your self a favor and call your bank and dispute immediately cause BestBuy is acting like thieves. I've received tons of terrible customer service from best buy pre-COVID and I understand we have to have patience but that's no excuse to steal from your customers.

Did you bring the unopened damaged game into a store to get a refund or exchange?

 

And did you do so within the return period?

I Live in New York right next to new york City. The game released in April and there was no way for me to tell it was damaged until I opened the box and saw everything inside the box was damaged cracked case/book/Steelcase I asked for an Exchange and best buy told me too bad COVID is happening to take it as is or return it to us for a full refund. I asked if I the item appeared in stock again if i could purchase it again for a exchange since during it through customer service seemed impossible. They said YES They even price matched me on my second purchase of the game cause i had gamer club and setup my Return label and i returned the game within the time frame I stayed in constant contact with customer service to make sure everything was the good cause "COVID" was making everything slow. So Best buy got my damaged game in June and has repeatedly told me my refund was coming i have an Email from alleged escalated customer service to keep waiting 10-15 days/next building cycle for my refund and its been over two months and now they just hang up on me refuse to escalate or pass the phone to a manager. Oh and allegedly the game is being returned to a house that I and my family are not staying at due to COVID concerns. Glad I spent my money to become an elite member and everything at best buy. At this point I'm probably going to my bank to report this charge as fraud and dispute it I have screenshots and emails that BestBuy is trying to scam me out of my money. The last service number i was given is {remover per forum guidelines) a manager was suppose to call me withen 2 hours they never did no surprise.

Wow Thanks i was not expecting to get a resolution regarding this but what a surprise only took almost 3 months but regardless i got my money back. Thank you @AndrewB-BBY
