I ordered the Animal Crossing Limited Edition Switch very shortly after it was announced. The preorders were still open for a long time after I ordered mine. Today I got notification that my order was "delayed"... how can I know if its really delayed or BestBuy took way more orders than stock and I am going to be out of luck? Other people online ordered similar time or after me got theirs (if I believe online forums).
Also I bought a lot of games and accessories (both at BestBuy and Amazon) that are now worthless without a console - how can I handle this? Will BestBuy in this circumstance allow me to return the ones I bought (even on Amazon) becuase it was BestBuy's fault that I cannot play them and I am past my return windows on them (thankfully they are all still in shrink wrap etc).

The Animal Crossing Limited Edition Switch looks amazing, and it's understandable that you'd still like to receive one if at all possible. We've connected with our support teams about this, however, it's unlikely that we'll have an update until Monday or Tuesday of next week. I am in the same boat, pretty disappoint in the overall communication on this. Especially since my credit card has already been charged.

I have the same issue. Ordered the AC Switch on 1/31, and many who ordered well after me already received their Switch. I never was contacted and told there was a delay. I have contacted Best Buy chat a few times and have been repeatedly assured it will ship this week. I will be very sad if I ordered practically day one, and won't get the item.

Updating: Recieved an email today saying my Switch has shipped, thank goodness. So for anyone else who is waiting, maybe yours will ship soon as well.

I apologize for the delay in response. It sounds like almost everyone who has received their Animal Crossing Switches. Those of you who live in areas where Best Buy has temporarily ceased operations can expect your orders to update once things get back up and running.
