So I'm active duty army, and I'm slated to get deployed soon. I signed up for the Xbox all access a few months ago to get a One S, with the option to upgrade to the Series X available after 18 months of payments. However, in order to upgrade the console, I have to physically bring the consome into a Best Buy store to exchange it. The problem is that the country I'll be in doesn't have any Best Buy stores. So I essentially have two questions: 1) Should I contact my local Best Buy to try and work something out? 2) Or if I pay off the Xbox while deployed, can I still upgrade to the Series X when I get back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The Trade in program seems to be with Microsoft and not Best Buy. From the info I have seen.
You may want to contact Microsoft.
However the progam details mention sending it in via a return box. Perhaps you can work it out with someone stateside to handle it for you.

It looks like the program is through Microsoft and Citizen One bank. Best Buy, and other authorized retailers, sold the units but the upgrade is not via the retailers.

Hi there, Cameronjellis,
Thank you for stopping by our community forums. The Xbox All Access program is really cool and I know I would want to be sure of my upgrade options if I were in your shoes. I did a bit of searching and found some more information on this process.
While Best Buy can help you with the original purchase, it looks like all trade-ins are completed via mail. This means you should be able to get upgrade even without access to a Best Buy store location. You can find some more details here.
I hope I was able to clear this up! Please let me know if you have more questions I can help with.

Hello,
Is it possible to sign up with Xbox All Access in-store? Or is the only way to do this online?
I am an existing All Access customer with an Xbox One X and I am eligible for upgrade per the official upgrade eligibility checker. I have been unable to complete any online preorder process using All Access, unfortunately.
I am hoping to arrive early to the store on launch day and secure one of the available launch day allocations, but I have to purchase via All Access, so I want to be sure that I will be able to do this on launch day. The All Access upgrade procedures say to complete the purchase as if it is a new All Access purchase and then I declare my intent for this to be an upgrade to them after the purchase is completed.
Please let me know if this will be possible and thank you!

Hello, Kiggsworthy,
We would not be able to speak to the availability of any stock on release day. Given we are currently sold out of the Xbox Series X/S consoles for pre-order, I don't not expect we will have any available stock for walk-in's.

My understanding is that it can only be done online. Any further questions should be directed to Microsoft and Citizen's Bank, through the link above.
