Hey njcj, back on page 2 of this forum thread, a post by Best Buy support Alexandra-BBY posted a solution for this problem. In it, she says to contact her by clicking on the blue "Private Message" button, which will let you send your information about your order directly to her and the other Best Buy support staff. I just got my own Smash Bros. order problem figured out by doing that today, rather than having to call on the phone or use the online chat service.

 

This is what I think might be at least the 4th time that I've used the Best Buy support forums to get assistance on some of my orders over the last few years, and every time someone has been able to get me the help I needed through private messages (lets you send personal information without everyone else on the forums seeing it). Hope you get your order sorted out.

This message is for @SeanM-BBY -- I tried to reply to your PM with the information you asked for, but the system is claiming I've sent the maximum number of PMs I'm allowed to send. Pretty cool, since I've only sent one. What am I supposed to do now?

I’m sorry to hear we seem to have run into a roadblock here, but hopefully we’ll be able to get this resolved so we can move forward.

 

If you haven’t done so already, I would recommend logging out of your Support Forum account, clearing your browser history/cookies, and trying to send me the message again.  Alternatively, starting a new message, rather than replying to the message I’ve sent you may resolve the issue as well.

 

If those still don’t work, let me know, and I’ll be happy to explore other options with you.

Hello Everyone-

 

As of 12/28, the bonus 500 points for the "Get $10" promotion on this title should have been added to your account.  Please make sure you are checking your account back on the date you original pre-ordered for BestBuy.com pre-orders as the points are often associated with when you first ordered.

 

If you are still not seeing the points, please follow the directions in Alexandra's post marked as the solution on page 2 of this thread.

Missing $10 Pre Order Bonus for Smash Brothers

I placed an order in early November that included Fallout 76 for XBOX and Smash Brothers for Switch (amongst other items).


I recieved my $10 in points for Fallout 76, but the $10 in points for SMash Brothers for Switch *NEVER* apperaed.

 

How can I get $10 in points for that?  I chose Best Buy becuase of the $10 reward promotion, otherwise I would have bought from Nintendo direct.

Missing a $10 certificate for pre-ordering

Hello! I pre-ordered Super Smash Bros Ultimate + Fighter Pass [Digital Download] and still haven't received my $10 certificate almost a month later. Can I get any help on this? Thank you!
