Does this apply even if the points are finalized (not pending) and there is still no 500 point bonus showing up? You are saying it could show up later anyway? Thanks!

I saw that for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there was a promotion for getting a $10 rewards certificate for pre-ordering and picking up the game. I pre-ordered the Special Edition and picked it up on the day it came out. So far, I've gotten the regular points from purchasing it, but not for the promotion. When will I get it? Or did the special edition not count in the promotion?

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. The $10 rewards certificate with select game preorders is one of my favorite promotions we offer.
As noted here, it takes 15-20 days from pickup for those points to post to your account. That means you should see those points in your account by December 27, if you picked it up on release day.
If we get to December 28 and you still don’t have the points, please reach back out to us and we’ll check it out for you.

From my experience, our "Get $10" My Best Buy offer for pre-ordering select games can sometimes take up to 20 days to apply to a membership. Since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate released on Dec. 7, we haven't quite hit that mark. That said, if you don't see your points by end of Thursday next week, let me know by sending me your full name, email, phone number, and your order number/Customer Service Pin (found on the store receipt). You may do this by logging into the forum and clicking on the blue "Private Message" button included in my signature below.

I'm in the same boat as well. Preordered the Special Edition and picked it up on December 7th. No updates to my rewards account. It doesn't even show up as "pending" on the point rewards history.

I just checked my rewards history on a whim this afternoon and noticed that the 500 points which I was supposed to receive for picking up my Smash Bros. Ultimate Special Edition preorder never posted to my account. I sure would appreciate your assistance to correct this - thanks!
