Hi, I had preordered the Cyberpunk 2077 Collector's Edition for the PS4 back in June 9, 2019 while I still had my Gamer's Club discount which reduced the retail price from $249.99 to $199.99. I had submitted a ticket a while ago as I had changed my payment method and it had deleted the Gamer's Club 20% discount and reached out to this forum to solve the issue which it was solved bringing the price back to $199.99 + tax.
BUT it happened yet again, I lost my 20% discount that was re-applied AND i was charged $19.99 for the free steelbook case that comes with every Cyberpunk 2077 game pre-order bringing the total to $292.25 ($269.98 collector edition+steelbook and $22.27 in tax). Can I get the 20% discount back and the $19.99 back that should not have even been charged in the first place?
I can provide the order number which shows that i was charged for the FREE steelbook and ordered back in June 2019.
Solved! Go to Solution.

The same thing happened to me. Pretty crappy they don't let you know, I would have bought it from Amazon or Walmart who had it for $49.94. Did chat, and they couldn't so sat on the phone for an hour but the guy didn't really understand me at all. I also ordered in June 2019. Thank god for those Elite Plus perks...

My discount for Cyberpunk on the Xbox from July 2019 was removed. I have no idea why since 4 other games I have pre-ordered still have the discount and were done 8 months later...
I was told the discount would stay as long as the order was placed while still on GCU(Mine expired in March of this year). Nothing was mentioned to me in any of the emails about the pre-order being shipped or to review it did not mention you changed the price, all 18 emails... There is nothing showing on the order, just says it was made in July 2019.
Would like this looked into, since I don't think I even changed anything on the order(changed my billing address on the account, but not the order - And that didn't change the other 4 pending pre-orders).
I already sent a PM to Andrew, but since I was never asked to, not sure if it will get looked at.

Pretty sure their policy is that you have to have the membership whenever the charge goes through. Which with BestBuy. They charge when the item is shipped. Not when the order is placed. At least I know that's how it was years ago when I still had a membership. Really wish BestBuy didn't get rid of GCU.

Welcome back to our Best Buy forum community! While I wish your reason for reaching out was a happier one, I'm glad you took the time to share this concern with us. Getting a product you love with your Gamers Club Unlocked discount should be a time of excitement, so I'm sad to learn that things didn't work out as planned with your order.
That said, I'd be happy to take a look into what's going on. I see that you sent us a Private Message with more details. I'll check that out now and respond there shortly for us to discuss this further!
