So now that my Gamersclub has expired and the membership doesnt exist anymore at Best Buy and Amazon also got rid of their 20% off, will there be anything like this again in the near future?
I was talking to an employee and they gave me one of the major reasons. I dont know the quote exactly but something along the lines of someone or some people abusing the system, going online and purchasing mass quantities to re sell. (yay capitalism?)
Will best buy offer anything similar in the future? Maybe through an elite member status? certificates? Something so that loyal costumers who purchases all of their games from Best Buy can still receive some sort of gaming discount?
Im really sad to see this go. Now I wont be purchasing anymore games at release. Not for $60. Especially with all the cut content publishers have nowadays (but thats another topic)
Looks like I will have to wait for a deep sale or black Friday now. :/

Welcome to Best Buy's online community. I am glad to know that you have been able to take care of the benefits of the Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) while the membership was available. The GCU offered some great benefits, and I can understand how disappointing the news of no longer being available to renew might have been for you.
It is exciting to see how Best Buy loyal customers have some great ideas that Best Buy can consider, now that GCU is not available. I would highly recommend that you consider posting your ideas onto IdeaX board. In IdeaX, Best Buy has given our customer a platform to submit ideas that Best Buy can use to improve the customer experience. While we don't have any information on the future state of GCU, your My Best Buy membership can still provide you with many potential offers. We encourage everyone to use our “My Best Buy” membership to receive perks, including receiving a $10 reward certificate when pre-ordering select, hot games.
