Re: Gamers Club not working even though my membership is still active

I can confirm that my account under the Rewards page shows my GCU won't expire until June 2020, yet no discounts are being shown for any games. It was my understanding that the discounts would resume after Cyber Monday, but no discounts are being applied.

 

I spoke with customer service several times over the last week about it, and they've told me my account's GCU expired in July 2018, even though I've been getting discounts for the last year and four months, and my account shows a completely different expiration. I'm beginning to think that my GCU was flat-out canceled, and customer service has told me that there's nothing they can do since the program ended.

 

I'd really like to know what's going on, because the official responses in this thread seem to indicate that Best Buy thinks these issues are resolved.

Have you gone all the way to the checkout screen to see if the discount is applying? If not, please do so.

 

If that doesn't work, please send in a private message by using the link in my signature with your name, email address, phone number, and My Best Buy member number, if you have it. I'll take a look at the account to check it out.
