Knowing that my GCU membership was ending soon, I just preordered a mess of video games--and was going to buy another bunch of already-released games, until I noticed that my GCU membership discount wasn't applied.
I bought my initial membership in-store on 11/6/14, and added another two years to my membership in June 2016. Why did my membership expire on the evening of 11/4/18? Shouldn't my GCU membership last two more days?
I have a scan of my initial receipt and an online order number for the extension, if those would help. Thank you!

If this is your first time posting, welcome to the forums, and thank you for being GCU members. As a fellow GCU member, going for one final game purchase before my membership expires is something I’ll likely do too, so I understand your disappointment if you went to do so and didn’t receive your discount.
We’ve only seen a handful of accounts with GCU memberships that expired before they should have, so we’ll be happy to take a look at your account if you didn’t see your discount apply when you went to make your final purchase.
That said, please know that we’re not able to reinstate or extend memberships, and are not able to accommodate discounts on any previous or new orders. Additionally, we will not be double checking account expiration dates upon request. If your discount did not apply in-store or online prior to the expiration date listed on your BestBuy.com profile, please send a private message to GamersClub-BBY verifying the following information.

My Gamer's Club discount also disappeared early. Extrememly frustrating as I went online to preorder some games before it ran out. I used text chat and called and either couldn't be helped or was given information that wasn't correct.

Yeah mine wasn't supposed to expire till right after Black Friday of this year on 11/24. I logged in today to order a game. Then saw that I wasn't getting the discount. So checked account details and it was gone. Disappointing.

Yeah, I've sent two private messages and haven't gotten a response to either one. My GCU is now officially expired, but my last order was place before it expired and did not get the discount. This is just silly.

I haven’t gotten a response either from when I reluctantly placed a preorder BEFORE my subscription expired just so they couldn’t say it was too late to use it once it was fixed. I’ve literally already gotten the game and beaten it. So yeah what a slap to the face it was to wake up to an email that enthusiastically announced a solution, only to find nothing’s been done.
