GCU not working In Store

So, not once, but twice I've had had issues where a game isn't giving me 20% off with my GCU in store. Once Friday and once this past Saturday, my purchases neglected the discount. I know the 2 games are on clearance, but I dont see anywhere in the T&C that mentions it doesn't work on clearance. I've definitely purchased clearance games before and had the discount applied.my GCU expires in AUG. I purchased 2 games Saturday, my GCU only applied to one game. I have receipts.

Basic question.  Have your checked to make sure you GCU has not expired?

Yes. It expires in August. On the second time this happened, on the same receipt, I bought a second game and GCU applied to it. It still applies right now to any game I place in my cart, including the two I purchased in which they didnt apply in store. The only difference I can spot is they are on clearance, and this isn't correctly applying in store, but it should.

It's understandable that you would want to ensure that you are getting any discounts that you may be entitled to. I apologize for any confusion with the billing of your purchasers. Just to confirm, were all of the games you were purchasing for physical titles?

Yes. All Physical. The discount applies online, no problem. It's only in store and only on clearance games. The same receipt of has two games, one clearance, one on sale. GCU only applied to the sale game.

I still get the discount for the same games online, but the prices aren't the same online and in store all the time. Either way, GCU should apply to clearance games as they aren't excluded in the TOS.

That does sound a bit strange. Outside of the clearance pricing, were any additional discounts added to the items that didn't receive the discount, such as a Price Match?

No. None. And this happened 2x, a day or two apart. The exact same games get the GCU discount when I have it in cart online. But the discount doesnt apply in store. No other discounts were applied to either game. They were scanned and nothing else. The only thing about these two games different than any other game I've purchased is that they were clearance and in store.
