It appears my GCU has been completely disabled for all purchases, though it does not expire for over another year. I reached out to customer service and they told me I could use it after cyber monday. This is absolutely absurd - there was nothing in the TOS or signup literature that said I would be unable to use my GCU for ANYTHING for what is amounting to an entire month.
When logged in, no discouinted price shows on any video game product.

I can understand wanting to know what’s up with your GCU, especially if it had been working up to this point for you.
While it’s true that GCU cannot be combined with Best Buy’s Thanksgiving Day physical ad or expanded digital ad offers, including the My Best Buy Early Access offers from this Sunday, it should be working for normal purchases. Were you trying to add something that was in the Early Access sale?
