GCU 25% promo code; "Sorry, we didn’t recognize your promo code."

I was saving my printed promo code on an upcoming pre-order and there was no rule against that in the fine print. However, when I was checking out and entered the code, I got this message.

 

Sorry, we didn’t recognize your promo code. Please make sure you entered it correctly and that it’s eligible to be used online.

 

The coupon lasts until 5/1/2019, and I placed it in the right box, so I have no idea what went wrong.

Welcome back to the forums!  I’m all for getting a discount on any purchase I make, and you’ve come to the right place for help with this.  I’d like to look into this a bit further and make sure the item you’re trying to purchase qualifies for the promo code you’ve received.
