I understand the return window is 45 days for an elite plus member. But what happens if the membership expired after making a purchase as an elite plus? Will I still get the 45 day return window for the item that had a 45 day return window at the time of purchase?

I'd be happy to help clarify our Return & Exchange Promise. As you mentioned, My Best Buy Elite Plus members have a 45 day period to return or exchange most products. If you are an Elite Plus member at the time of this return you would have 45 days from the time of purchase. If your membership had expired you would no longer have access to that time frame.
