Recent purchase was put under a new rewards account

Hello,

Elite plus member here. Recently purchased something in store, gave my rewards phone number during checkout. My fiance’s Name popped up but address was still the same, and then it prompted me to create a new rewards account. I asked the cashier about it and he said it was fine. Now my purchase points was linked to a new rewards account instead of mine elite plus account. Can someone look into this for me? My receipt clearly states my name. The receipt ID is {removed per forum guidelines} and the purchase was for 182.51

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for being a My Best Buy Elite Plus member! Being such a loyal shopper usually means your membership is pretty easy to find, so it's odd you had trouble pulling up your account, instead finding one in your fiance's name. 

It sounds like we just created a new membership for you though, rather than tracking your original one down. We should be able to merge these provided they're both in your name, so I am sending you a private message.
