I've had points stolen now 4 times.
The first time I called support and they gave me the location of the store in New York for the purchase. I called the store manager and she said she had the tapes and would look into it. I was given the points back but wanted to find out what happen. Apparently they were used for some gift card purchases in stores. Apparently you dont need ID to use someone else's points. Change email addresss, password.
After points were reinstated - the same thing happens form a store in Michigan - store not so helpfull. Points reinstated a couple of weeks later. Change email addres password, and phone number.
I quickly use my points ...
Thrid time for the $250+ of points i didnt use - were emptied. Couldn't get the store they were used at from customer service. Tired of trying to play detective. Agent suggested using a keywork to use points - setup keyword. Change phone, email, password and now have keyword.
Purchase new appliaances - get more points - still yet to get any points from third incident.
Fourth time - account emptied. Agent says he will fill out form - on hold now for 5 minutes .... he can't find out what store this happened.
I love BestBuy and it kills me that someone is taking advange of this - this must be fixed. The fraud always happens in store with the purchase of some gift cards. Please fix this issue!

I am disheartened to learn that your account without your consent, not once but four times, and has brought you to visit this forum.
