I'm having a similar issue. I purchased a refrigerator on June 28, and it was delivered on September 10 (which has its own Best Buy nightmare story). Now I'm still waiting for my points (approximately 25,000) to show up in my account.


I have called Best Buy at least four times about this. Every time I call, the representative assures me that they see what the problem is and that they will be fixing the problem and that the points will be added to my account. The first time they told me it will take 4 business days. Then when it didn't happen I followed up they said it would take up to two weeks. 


When it still didn't get fixed I called last week and was told the issue was being escalated and that I should wait 4 business days. I checked again today and now they say I need to wait 7-10 business days. So now, at best, I have to wait until December to get points for a purchase made in June. However, based on my experience so far, I give it only a 25% chance of being fixed by then. 


Even if it does get fixed this time, I think Best Buy has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I don't think it's the fault of the customer service people, who generally seem like they are trying to be helpful. I think Best Buy just has really screwed up systems.

Generally, points are posted to your account 20 days after you make your purchase or it has been delivered. This can take up to 30 days for purchases made with Magnolia or Pacific Sales. Because it's been longer than this, I would like to review your previous case history and My Best Buy account.
