So, I spent over $1500 over the last calendar year. I had talked to many extremely incompetent employees from the Elite customer service that reassured me that I would be fine. Yet, they were big liars.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for being a My Best Buy member! At the end of every February, tier statuses expire for those who have not met the spend requirements. It sounds like you were fully aware of the spending requirements, and had even checked on it throughout the year to make sure you were in the clear. I'm sorry to hear your tier status may have expired despite meeting the spending requirements, and being reassured you had.
