Hello, lately I noticed in my Rewards History that my usual deposit of My Best Buy Points for purchases made outside Best Buy with my Best Buy Visa credit card still hasn't been posted, even though my statement from Citibank has long since been issued to me on September 7th. My monthly issuing of those kind of points, labled "Visa Statement Summary (outside Best Buy)" seems to happen on the 7th or 8th of each month, as is viewable in the August and July statements in the history, so I figured my September posting would be in the same timeframe. My total spent outside Best Buy for this current Visa Statement period was $417.05, which converting to my 6% back from being a Elite Plus member is $8.34, or 417 My Best Buy points.
One thing to note, at the end of August and middle of September, I did receive points for two different My Best Buy Visa promotions that were finishing up. The "$25 reward for $150 spend on BBY Credit Card BBY 8/31 - 9/7/" and the "5% Back In Rewards on Grocery purchases made 5/15/20-8/31/20" promotions. Those certificate and points earned back match exactly with what I expected, so no worries there. But I'm wondering if in the process of Citibank issuing those rewards, they overlooked sending out the regular monthly Visa Statement points for the current credit card statement.
In any case, any help in figuring out when/if those missing 417 My Best Buy points will be issued to my account is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

One thing I just realized this morning, I incorrectly typed "My total spent outside Best Buy for this current Visa Statement period was $417.05, which converting to my 6% back from being a Elite Plus member is $8.34, or 417 My Best Buy points."
While the total of $417.05 is correct, I shouldn't have really mentioned the 6% back thing since that just applies to orders at Best Buy. The $417.05 however, was all from three seperate purchases in grocery stores, which according to the credit card's rewards terms gives a usual 2% back, which is where the $8.34 came from (so 417 My Best Buy points is still the correct missing amount I'm owed).
One other thing to note, in the 5% Grocery Promotion that ended, those bonus points that were awarded were actually calculated by just taking the total grocery purchases times a 3% payout. This is to compliment the regular 2% grocery category that is meant to be awarded in the usual monthy Visa Summary entry, rather than being an additional 5% on top of the usual 2% that the grocery category qualifies for. That's fine with me, as that is how it worked for the last two months' Visa Summary entries of my Rewards History as well. I'm just missing the points earned from the most recent My Best Buy Visa Credit card statement (417 My Best Buy points which are equal to the 2% value of the $417.05 that were all grocery purchases).

The ability to earn points when making purchases outside of Best Buy is what makes the My Best Buy™ Visa card so appealing. I've been trying to convince my wife to use her Visa card more often, especially when getting gas or buying groceries. Why not earn a few points for buying the weekly groceries? As it appears you are aware, the points for purchases made outside of Best Buy will generally post in one lump-sum around the same time each month, which is after the end of a billing cycle.
All members, including those with Elite Plus status, can earn 1% back in points on eligible purchase made outside of Best Buy with the Visa card. We do occasionally have bonuses for making certain purchases, such as groceries or gas, and those points should be included in the monthly lump-sum. Also, you should be able to see the point breakdown in your rewards history. For example, we have a current bonus offering 2% back on grocery purchases. That means you would get 1% back in-general for using your Visa and another 1% for using your Visa at a grocery store, which would equal 2% back.
I'd be more than happy to review your rewards account to ensure it's up-to-date with all points having been awarded. I may need to partner with Citibank if points are actually missing but that's no biggie.
