Missing Elite Plus Bonus Points

I have been an Elite Plus member for many years and a VIP before that.  In reviewing my account I do not see the additional .25 in points I should be recieving for my purchases.  Please advise.

Thank you for registering with the forum to reach out about what's going on with your points. As an Elite Plus member, you should be receiving points at a higher rate than our core or Elite customers, so I can definitely understand why you may be concerned if things aren't reflected as you expect. 

Not too long ago, we changed how our points were awarded. For Elite and Elite Plus members, rather than getting a separate point bonus for your tier status, your base point rate simply increased. As such, you shouldn't see a separate bonus, but your base points should reflect a 1.25 point accrual rate.

Exactly! My base points do not reflect a 1,25 accrual rate. How do I get this resolved?

Which purchases do you feel have not been awarded the correct amount of points?  Please keep in mind that purchases made outside of Best Buy using your My Best Buy™ Visa card would be eligible for .5 points per $1 rather than the 1.25 points that Tasha mentioned.  If you use your Visa at Best Buy and select standard financing, then you should receive 6% back in points or 3 points per $1.  That is all based on the purchases pre-tax total.  For example, let's say you used your Visa card with standard financing and the pre-tax total was $300.  That should result in a total of 900 points.  You would get 375 base points and 525 bonus points for a grand total of 900.  We do not award points with the use of a promotional financing offer.
