Membership ID missing

My membership ID is missing. I went to take a purchase on 12/15 using my hard earned rewards and the transaction was canceled. I logged on on 12/17 and was assigned to a new member ID and I can not log into to my old ID. All of the information including my credit cards was moved to the new ID with the exception of my points and my previous transactions and I have no way to access them. I called customer service and they are not able to solve it on the phone but put a ticket in and said I would hear something in 7-10 days but that on 12/17 and still no word or resolution.  My old member ID has my reward points and history. HELP!

Welcome back to our community forums. As a My Best Buy member, I know I would want to make sure I had access to my points and rewards. I appreciate you writing to us and would be glad to see what options I may have to help you out.


To start off, I'd like to review your My Best Buy account. Based on your description, it sounds like you may need to have your My Best Buy accounts may need to be merged. I'll be sending you a private message with a few more details.
