Happened to notice today that my status was downgraded because I was 200 dollars short of elite plus. I asked a representative if it would be possible to send an email to customers near the end of the year stating the total they have spent since January 1st or post it at the top of the page when they log in. She told me that purchases were already posted and that they just handled Rewards not complaints.

While some members may receive marketing emails regarding their tier spending, these emails are not guaranteed. As emails, even if sent, may be filtered, overlooked, or blocked, it is always recommended to manage your account via BestBuy.com where your spend amount may be reviewed. I know many customers keep a close eye on their spending at the end of the year, knowing the deadline to meet the spending requirements is coming up. Sometimes a bit of last-minute shopping is needed, even after all of the holiday shopping is done!
