I was Elite Plus, now Im not...

At the end of 2017 my purchases qualified me for Elite Plus status.  I waited a month or whatever for the progress bar to show back up, and when it did it still showed me at Elite Plus.  Ive had Elite Plus status since they started the program and it was called "Premier" and "Premier SIlver"... now all of a sudden Im only at Elite status. 

 

How was I qualified at the end of 2017, now all of a sudden in March 2018 Im not?

 

 

I swear sometimes its like Best Buy is just daring me to stop spending money with them.  Its always one thing after another.  I'm about to buy all new appliances for my house and now the incentive/desire to do it at Best Buy is completely gone.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your tier status! Having your tier status change a couple months into 2018 would be quite confusing, especially if you thought you had met the tier spending requirements for Elite Plus. 

 

As you can review from our FAQ below, tier statuses expire at the end of every February. I apologize if you were unaware of this and if it caused any concern. If your Elite Plus status expired, it is likely because the spending requirements were not met.

The spending requirements were met... that was my whole point.

According to the progress bar on my profile page I had surprassed the spending requirements well before the end of 2017. I have ever since the program started; I actually tend to go out of my way to make sure that I do.

 

So thanks, but don't worry about the private message because frankly I'm not interested in figuring it out anymore.  I've reached my limit of having to struggle with Best Buy over every little thing for the privleage of spending as much money as I do in that store.

 

If I didn't qualify, Best Buy shouldn't have been telling me that I did.
