It sounds like your Elite status may have recently expired, which is possible if you didn't spend $1,500 on eligible purchases back in 2019. I've been trying to reach Elite status for years but have never been all that close; however, I can imagine I would want to keep Elite status too if I ever go to that level. We can certainly go over your purchase history to determine whether or not you requalified for Elite status.
Just keep in mind when reviewing your own purchase history that you should exclude sales tax and any portion of a purchase that is paid for with a gift card or certificate. While your rewards history should display a total minus sales tax, your actual purchase history may display a total including sales tax.
