Thank you for reconnecting with us on the forum.
I have been trying to qualify for Elite status ever since it was first introduced but always find a way to fall short. This has by far been my worst showing. My wife has been talking about buying a new stove and dishwasher, which might be my only chance. If you qualified for Elite Plus status back in 2017, then your status should expire at the end of Feb. 2019. You would have until the start of the 2019 calendar year to requalify by spending $3,500 either solely at Best Buy OR solely using your My Best Buy™ Visa card. The higher of the two totals will be displayed when you login to your rewards account.
As far as I can tell, you are currently about $530 away from requalifying for Elite Plus status based on purchases solely made with your Visa card. It can generally take up to 20 days for an eligible Best Buy purchase and up to 30 days for purchases made outside of Best Buy (billing cycle) to reflect within a member's spending total. It is possible that a purchase will still be pending by the start of the 2019 calendar year; however, an eligible purchase should still count towards the 2018 total if processed in 2018.
