Elite Plus status not recieved in time

Im wondering if anyone can give some insight on what to do here.  We purchased a vacuum from best buy on october 3rd.  we used it for about a month and over that month we decided that it just got worse to use and became a nuisance with having to plug it into charge rather than just having a charging dock.  I was Elite at the time and was past our 30 day return window so we purchased more products that would put me above the 3500$ mark and make me Elite Plus so we could return the vacuum.  Well its now Nov 21st and i STILL have not gotten my elite plus status.  We should have been elite plus the first week of november and that would have allowed us to return the vacuum.  The 17th of november was our cutoff date for 45 days.  Why is it taking so long for my status to be updated?  

 

Is there anything i can do to return this vacuum?  It doesnt work well and was a complete waste of 350$.
