Hey all! I made a purchase in August 30th of this year in store in Lexington, KY. A big reason that we opted to go with Best Buy was the sales persons pitch who said we'd earn 1.5x per $ spent on our purchase. Our family had a house fire, so of course we lost all of our belongings, had to rebuild w/ our kitchen, washer/dryer, everything. We spent $12,000 in one purchase,which we were told that for the first $1500,we'd earn .5 point per dollar spent, then on the next $2,000 we'd earn 1 point per dollar spent, and everything beyond that we'd earn 1.25x per dollar. He told us that we'd basically have 15,000 points after this purchase. Now I'm finding he didn't link it to our account. On top of that, going back in, and entering our receipt and missing points, it's showing that we only have a pending 5811 points, which is nowhere near what we were told. That's a pretty dirty move.
We could have went w/ our local Lowes or Home Depot and save a little cash up front, but being that we'd also be buying tv's and a projector, we went this route. Overall, not a good look at all.

I can only imagine how stressful it must have been having to replace everything after your family's house fire, but we're grateful that you decided to come to us for purchasing the items you need.
That said, it hurts to hear that things didn't work out quite as you were told at the time of the purchase. We know how important it is for our employees to provide accurate information, so our shoppers can make an informed decision, so it's never fun to learn that wasn't the case.
