My Best Buy Elite membership has been corrupted and apparently merged with another user. 30 days of calls and chats to Best Buy teams have resulted only in "I can't help, but I will escalate".
The only reply I have seen is a sketchy (bad english, no support links, unverifiable email address) email that claims to be from MyBestbuySupport@bestbuy.com. However, this agent cannot verify a case number for me to independently verify (I do have one provided from the many outgoing calls I made). I have forwarded this email to both abuse@bestbuy and privacymanager@bestbuy asking if anyone can verify the validity of the message or this support address with not replies.
I'm now stuck, I had to put my Best Buy Citi credit card on hold, my daughter cannot get support on a product I bought her in January, and honestly, made my most recent computer and monitor purchase at a near buy competitors brick and mortar store just out of frustration.
Can my membership number and credits be restored by anyone?

Thanks for joining the Best Buy Community forums. Having someone else use you information or account can be scary. Your privacy is important to us. I'd like to look into this to see if we can help out at all.
Can you please send along a private message by using the link in my Singapore below this post? If you include your name, email address, and phone number, along with that My Best Buy number, that will help.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi again, Socalmorr,
Thanks for following up with us on this.
I noticed that you told us on Twitter that this could take 5-7 days. It looks like there are still a couple more days before that has run its course.
If you are still having issues once the seven days pass, please reply back to the private message I most recently sent you, or to that last twitter DM, and we'll see what other options we may have.
