So I spent $5266.61 and Best Buy in 2018, today I went to exchange something and was told sorry your 14 day's return/exchange is over and go pound sand!
Really Best Buy? This happened last year too.
I understand the time frame resets, I am also more than happy to spend that money at amazon, please let me know how to fix this ASAP!

It is not an easy task maintaining Elite Plus status year after year. I have tried to reach Elite status ever since it was first introduced back in 2013 but always seem to fall short. The option to bank points will keep me trying though. As you are likely aware, a member would need to spend $3,500 on eligible purchases within a single calendar year to qualify for Elite Plus status. Our members that did not requalify for Elite or Elite Plus status during the 2018 calendar year would have had their status expire at the end of February.
While it is possible that you did spend more than the required $3,500 in 2018, it is also possible that not each purchase made qualified towards your final total. There are purchases that we exclude when determining if a member has qualified for a higher tier status. For example, any portion of a purchase that is paid for with a gift card or certificate would be excluded. I can say for sure whether you requalified or not once I dive into your rewards account.
