Hi BBY Team,
I am reaching out as I have been unable to get phone support the past few hours due to the automated system stating " due to a technical issue, your call cannot be taken" I have tried numerous times to get connected to someone to speak about my Reward Points, but am unable to connect to anyone.
Earlier today, I connected with a chat agent about extending the expiration date of my certificates (something that has been easily done for me before.) She stated that it wasn't possible, but can convert the certificates into points, where I can re-issue them another time when ready. I told her that was fine, and she said everything was good to go. My 2x $25 certificates are now off my account, and no point balance has changed. I'm afraid that if I don't resolve this soon, I will not even get my points back.
I have a screenshot and both certificate numbers if someone can help me out in a private message.

Thank you for stopping by our community forums again and writing to us about your interaction with this chat agent. While I'm not aware of a process to modify the expiration date on a My Best Buy certificate, I would like to look at your case history to see how I may be able to help moving forward.
