I have contacted Best Buy several times (10+) for support on this matter and it has led nowhere.
I cannot log into my elite rewards account on bestbuy.com. The error is that says "there is no account associated with this email". Custom support have asked me to do the following, which has no resolution.
- Basic level 1 stuff, try to reset password but problem is error says "there is no account associated with this email".
- Create a new account using a different email address (which just creates a new member ID) - still cant access old elite account.
- Merge account above with elite account. New account dissappears and still cant access old (or new) account.
- Create account with email that matches what is on file for elite rewards account - just creates a new account number, still cant access old elite account.
- Merge these accounts. After few days trying to log in using the email says same error, "there is no account associated with this email". Still cant access old elite account.
Every time I have been assured "We will send this to our back team who will contact you". Its been months of this fight. Nobody has contacted me. There has been no real attempt at a resolution. Incrediably dissapointed.

Custom support keeps trying to have me create a new account, then merge the accounts, but nothing has helped. I have esssentially lost this account and cannot get it back. I have had this account for many years and it has rewards points and certificates on it.

I have been unable to sign into my rewards account for months; I have contacted Best Buy several times (10+) for support on this matter and it has led nowhere. I posted in these forums over a month ago and still, nothing has been done. I just dont understand, is there a way to actually get somebody to fix this?

I have done everything the customer care people have the ability to do, and nothing is resolved. Merging accounts; told to wait; etc, etc. The account exists, but I cannot access it. Thus I will likely lose rewards points and gift certificates due to this.

Extremely low effort, customer care reps who have no ability to resolve complex issues. There is no specialized team who can actually assist customers with problems. There is no place for customers to actually complain and get issues resolved; as every email, comment, etc goes to the same low tiered support.
Why is there not better support or effort to address these issues? Everything is hope and wait until the problem goes away.
