I was reviweing my recent purchases. I am seeing points exclusions for Apple products? This is unfortunate and all my Apple purchases will now go directly to Apple, if my Best Buy points are excluded for Apple products, what is my reason to buy from Best Buy? The last several years we have been an elite member and been a loyal customer.
I will keep purcjhasing other products, this is just disappointing.

Thank you for reaching back out on our forum. I love Apple products, and I know I was curious about these purchases not being eligible for points as a My Best Buy member as well. I'm happy to share more information regarding this.
This exclusion has been in place since October 2019, but you can still earn points for Apple products when purchased on standard credit with the My Best Buy Credit Card. In addition, these purchases should still count towards reaching Elite or Elite Plus tiers if a different form of payment is used even if points are not awarded.
If you have additional questions please visit our My Best Buy Benefits page and feel free to message me directly.

Sorry to piggy back off of an existing thread, but I just want to make sure I have my facts straight.
Apple products purchased with a Best Buy Credit Card still accrue points if they're purchased without financing, correct?
Is it still the 1%, 5%, and 6% back in rewards depending on membership level or is it simply 1% across the board regardless of membership level.

Good evening, mjallemand,
Correct! You can still earn points when purchasing Apple products when using a My Best Buy credit card with standard financing, and the amount of points to be earned would depend on your tier status. If you have standard or Elite status, then you can earn 5% back in points when using your My Best Buy credit card with standard financing, and if you have Elite Plus status, then you can earn 6% back in points. Let us know if you have any other questions.
