I had a $30 certificate that I have ordered a product online from bestbuy.com with this certificate (along with another $15 certificate) and decided to return them at a store. This being my first time returning an item that was purchased with certificates, I verified with the Best Buy store employee that all my certificates would go back to my account, which he assured me they will, so I proceeded with the return.
As it turned out, the return receipt said I was getting back everything and the employee assured me as well. I got the $15 certificate back the very next day, but after waiting a week, I still haven't gotten the $30 back yet and now they're telling me I have to contact Best Buy support. This has been incredibly frustrating. I've been wanting to purchase another item with the $30 but have been jumping through hoops just to find out why I didn't get my $30 back. Can you provide any assistance?
Update: I even tried contacting the Customer Support, they asked me to contact the store, when contacted the store none of the picks the call up. Again went back and called the customer support again regarding this issue, one of them assured me that it will be credited back to my account in 2 hours, when I checked back did not receive any info on it . Then now when contacted them back, explained all over the issue again and they are asking me to contact the Store. Very much frustrating experience with this service.

Thanks for contacting us on our forum for support. I'd be happy to clear up any confusion with your $30 certificate, as it sounds like you've been given the runaround thus far. Bonus/promotional certificates (which it sounds like this was) are intended to be one-time use coupons. No points are awarded for these certificates, so when the points are credited for most certificates, there is nothing to be returned for promotional ones.
