Re: Dynex TV Not Identifying Channels

Hi - I have a Dynex DX‐37L150A11. I have used my tv with cable for many years, but recently opted to switch and use an antenna to pick up local channels only.

 

After performing the auto scan, my tv finds 0 channels. I have tried changing the settings between antenna, cable, cable with convertor but have had no luck. 

 

After taking a look at the Dynex website, I see that there is a link with a guide entitled "Tuner Firmware Update Process for Dynex Model DX‐37L150A11". While I can download the PDF for this and many of the manuals linked above, I cannot find a link to download the firmware and follow the steps outlined.

 

How would you advise moving past this to get my tv to successfully pick up on channels with its built in antenna/ external antenna amplifier?

Welcome to our community. 

 

While this TV does have a built-in tuner, it does not feature an included antenna. You will need to connect an external HD antenna in order to receive over the air broadcast programming.

 

As regards the firmware you've mentioned, I recommend contacting Dynex Support at 1-800-305-2204 for further assistance.
