stereo- Geek squad and 3rd party is a joke

Geek squad's staff is a joke along with their GM (Brian). Here is the breakdown. (Modesto, CA)

Bought stereo in Feb of 2021 it's now May and nothing has been done!

 

  • bought a stereo from best buy
  • had Geek squad put it in (big mistake)
  • after they installed it, there was a noise that made my battery drain, had to replace battery 2 times so far. 
  • took it back to them, the 2 guys from Geek squad heard the noise
  • asked them if they can install the steering wheel portion, they said yes but would charge me for installation and parts, was okay with parts, but not installation because I had asked them before they installed the stereo that I would like the steering wheel part to also work, they said they couldn't, but on the box of the stereo it says it could. All they wanted was to charge me another fee to install that portion. As I was speaking to GM (Brian) I told him I would just call Corporate. He told me that Corporate wouldn't care because Best buy is EMPLOYEES FIRST and didn't care about his customers. I am actually now believing that's actually true. 
  • Made an appointment to take a look at it
  • when I took it in they said they didn't hear anything so they did nothing. mind you the noise is still there. They kept the car all day just to tell me they did nothing
  • almost got hit straight on by a Geek squad vehicle (I have the date so you can check the cameras) 
  • I called Corp. they had a 3rd party contact me. 
  • 3rd party company Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc.
  • Leah called me from the 3rd company very rude. asked me to explain once again what happened. with an additude. I asked her if the information was not in the computer already. She proceeded to say do you want to tell me or I will close your case right now. More words were said.
  • I asked to speak to her boss (Cynthia). I spoke to her. didn't seem like she cared. 
  • She told me to take it to best buy and have the stereo taken out and they will put the old one back in. 
  • No longer trust best buy (geek squad), so i told her I would have to be there while they are removing the stereo.
  • She said that is not possible and to have another car stereo take it out.
  • I emailed her today and asked if they will refund me the fee to get the stereo removed and other one put back in. no response yet.

Geek squad is a joke. Specially Brian, his employees lead by example. if the main guy doesn't care the employees are surely not going to care.

 

Best Buy you have failed me. I have bought so much from Best Buy. They do not care about their customers. Very sad that in this generation you can no longer get great service.

emailed my personal number to someone that wanted to speak to me about the issue, but haven't heard from them. Best Buy, I am very disappointed.

they actually did contact me yesterday. i forgot to look in the inbox. we will see.. i'm stilling going in circles with this 3rd party company.

Meg was no help, she told me to keep work with the 3rd company even though we keep going in circles since march. Best buy and their 3rd party are a joke. very disappointed.
