installers damaged my home. best buy / sedgwick not responding to my damage claim

best buy delivery / installation damaged my home.  i called best buy, and they gave me a damage claim number with thier insurance ompany, sedgwick.  i have not heard from sedgwick.  i have been leaving messages with them for 3 weeks.  i am very frustrated.  please respond!!!

Welcome to our forums, albeit under such unfortunate circumstances.  Having to deal with damage to your home after an appliance delivery/installation can be frustrating on its own, so to hear you’ve not received a response after three weeks is especially disheartening. 


As it sounds like you’re aware, Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc is the insurance company that underwrites Best Buy claims for property damage that may occur during home deliveries or installations, and are best equipped to address your concerns regarding this damage.  I’ll be happy to look into your claim number further and offer any additional assistance I can, however, there are a few pieces of additional information I’ll need from you in order to do so.  If you could send me a private message with the following information:


  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your Sedgwick Claim ID number


This should be enough information for me to begin my research.  As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our forums, so be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me this information privately.
