Worse Buying Experience Riddled w/ Lies

Absolutely horrible buying experience consisting of repeated lies and undelivery. I ordered a TV on the Best Buy website with scheduled delivery and Wall mount install. Neither thing ever happened. Best part, I was consistently lied to regarding my purchase. Almost a week out I was “promised” delivery and told to ignore a message to reschedule (pic available). The day of delivery/install I questioned my delivery being late and an associate had the audacity to tell me my tv was on the truck and would arrive any minute - NOT TRUE. Once I finally got someone on the phone, they hung up on me when I tried to explain my experience. I was ultimately forced to rent a uhaul go to the store and pick it up myself. Best part, it was my birthday weekend and I missed all Saturday plans waiting for my phantom delivery. I’m a life long customer who will never buy from Best Buy again. It’s not worth the lies and stress.

It definitely appears there was some miscommunication that took place with your most recent installation attempt.  I’m sorry this was your experience on your birthday weekend, and I appreciate the chance to take a closer look at this, here on the Best Buy forums.

 

I want to personally read over any notes or cases that have been opened up on your behalf.  Realizing I cannot erase the past, I’m looking to see if we’re able to restore your faith in us that you once had, to make Best Buy your shopping destination once again.
