What will BestBuy do to make this right by me?

purchased  projector screen, delivery , assembly, installation   (also purchased projector installation; projector itself was already owned from prior residence before moving to new residence)

 

screen is installed on first day, has obvious defects, told to wait and see if they improve

 

-->waited week or so

 

screen is "reassembled" and reinstalled on second day, still has obvious defects

 

-->waited week or so, still not improved

 

wall is now chewed up with multiple holes, mounting brackets, etc

 

screen is now out of stock and can't be replaced

 

zero equivalent/comparable items in same size and price point

 

 

if I had to downsize screen then projector will have to be reinstalled at different location, leaving gaping hole in ceiling, and all sorts of visible wall damage around frame of smaller screen .  {these are not acceptable}.

 

 

will Bestbuy  :

 

1) move to higher price tier product of same size , at its own cost/loss to avoid repair wall/ceiling?

 

2) find a way to product another of the out of stock item from a 3rd party at its own loss?

 

3) force me to accept an inferior /smaller screen and pay out of my own pocket to repair the damage to the wall from their failed installation and pay out of pocket to reinstall projector in ceiling and the associated hole from its original mounting?

 

4) tell me to pound sand entirely and I'm stuck with  a defective item

i've also lost about 2 months of useful life of my projector itself under its protected warranty period,

but that's incidental to the other problems at hand.

I don't feel comfortable disclosing that info yet.

This is what I got (and is defective) and was mounted on my wall twice without success.

Anything without its exact dimensions and specifications will not fit the space, and will require repairing the entire wall damage, relocating the projector, and repairing the hole in the ceiling it was installed with.

so it's a weel later,  and literally no progress has been made on this issue with respect to improving my confidence in a positive outcome.
