Washer/dryer

Besides the phone number, where can I email someone to file a complaint?!

Re: Washer/dryer

I just tried to talk to an agent via the chat option. Mysteriously my chat ended in the middle of the conversation. Luckily I kept screenshotting the convo which I can’t seem to paste into here but I do have. So I’m typing it out again because after reading some of these complaints, I see there is no email address.
Yesterday, 3/11, I had a washer and dryer delivered. The washer was installed but they claimed they could not install the dryer because the gas pipe (which has been connected to my dryer for over 10 years) was not braced against the wall. They left the old dryer sitting where it was (I paid ahead of time for removal) and left the new dryer in my garage. My husband came home from work and could not understand what the issue was. We removed the old dryer ourselves and moved the new dryer in to see what the problem was only to discover that the book was in the dryer but the new exhaust and other parts I had purchased were not! I called Sunday evening to get a new appointment and was told Friday 3/16 was the first available appointment. I did 4 loads of wash yesterday and hung the clothes up to dry. My husband went ahead today and purchased the new parts at another store and hooked up the dryer with no problem on his own. Parts that I had already paid for through Best Buy. This evening we ran both the washer and dryer. We noticed that there was blue hot steamy water coming out of the drain pipe of the washer into the sink. That’s when my husband realized that the cold/hot water pipes going from the washer to the cold/water valves were reversed. So when we had it set to cold it was putting hot water in instead. The valves on the washer are clearly marked hot and cold. I sincerely hope that the washer was not damaged by hot water going through where cold water should be.
So in summary, I paid from dryer removal that did not happen, dryer installation that did not happen, parts for the dryer that I did not receive and the washer was not installed correctly.

Re: Washer/dryer

Hello Scasey0807-

Thank you for registering with the Best Buy forums to let us know about your washer and dryer installation.  Although I wish we could have met under better circumstances, I am thankful you took the time to stop by and let us know about this!

Using the email that was provided, I was unable to locate any purchase history or service records, but I’d like very much to take a look at the notes so that I can be of further assistance to you.

If this was an in-store purchase, I’d recommend heading back to the store to speak with a leader of that location to see if there is anything that can be done to get a repair technician out there to take a look.  I’d happily pass the information along myself, and you’re welcome to send a private message by clicking the blue button below.  Don’t forget to include your full name, phone number, order number, and email address!

Sincerely,

Re: Washer/dryer

Hello Scasey0807-

Please be sure when you're using the Best Buy forums that all personal and private information is sent via in a private message so that it stays out of the publics eye.  With that said, I'd be unable to proceed with this order as the purchaser's name and credit card that was used, does not match the ones that was provided upon registration.

Our Privacy Policy would only allow us to speak with the person on the "Bill To" line.  Knowing this wasn't the response you were hoping for, please invite the purchaser of the order to the Best Buy forums.  Have them register their own account and send me a private message containing their order information.  They can send their message by clicking the link in my signature line below labeled "Private Message."

Respectfully,

JJ|Social Media Specialist | Best Buy® Corporate
