Our samsung washer and dryer is leaking from the install less than three weeks ago and it is leaking all over our downstairs ceiling. We now have water damage in our house now. Customer service for Geek Squad hung up on me... is it because I expect the new washer to not leak all over our house? Please help

Hey there, pwilliams5039,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share this concerning experience on the Best Buy Community Forum. We want the best for our customers, and it goes without saying that water leaks are not the best. I’ll be more than glad to do what I can to help get this straightened out.
With appliance water leaks there are a few very general things I will need to suggest, before getting started. Generally speaking, if an appliance is leaking water, it is best to discontinue use, and shut off the water line to the appliance (if applicable). If necessary to stop the water leak, unplug power.
Going forward, it sounds like the best option for you may be setting up an installation redo where teams would check the installation and water line for leaks or rupture. To review the order more closely, though, I will need some more information from you. Please send a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and original order number. If you are logged into the forum from a PC, you should see a blue “Private Message” button in my signature below this post.
