Washer/Dryer Installation Problem

As scheduled, I had a washer and dryer delivered this morning (valued at $1600). The delivery workers said they were not allowed to touch the shut off valve because we needed a new one. (The delivery worker even said Best Buy should have told us this in advance and they did not). They delivery workers told me to call a plumber and left the washer and dryer sitting in my living room. They said after the plumber fixed what needed to be fixed, they would return within 48 hours to install everything. I paid $450 for a plumber to come immediately. He cut open my wall to a replace a valve. I then called five different Best Buy numbers and was on the phone for FOUR HOURS trying to schedule a new installation date. The EARLIEST I was told they can come back is OVER A WEEK from now. I have NO washer and dryer now. I have a new washer and dryer sitting in the middle of my living room (the only room in my small condo). I have a photo for proof. Not to mention I work at home in this already confined space. To say this is an inconvenience is an understatement. I had to go to a neighbors to do laundry today. One of the managers I spoke to on the phone was beyond rude and unprofessional. As a fellow law enforcement professional, I do not AT ALL appreciate being spoken to like I’m an idiot, which is exactly how he spoke to me. I do not speak to anyone with that kind of disrespect. I want to file a formal complaint and could not find anywhere online to submit one. At this point, I’m inclined to return my order for a full refund and go elsewhere. I will make certain no family or friend ever shops at Best Buy again if this is the kind of service and customer service (lack of) professionalism that is offered.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks so much for your patience in awaiting a reply after that bad delivery experience. Having appliances just sitting in the middle of your home is very disruptive, and I'm sorry that happened.
