Unsatisfactory service

I purchased a refrigerator on July 6th because we were promised we would get it delivered on July 8th between 7-11am.

I got a phone call at 6:19am (41 minutes BEFORE the delivery window) from a random phone number and when I called CS they stated that the driver was there at exactly 7am-7:15am and took pictures to confirm he was there. HE NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME HE WAS OUTSIDE OF MY BUILDING!!!! I spoke to 3 representatives at that point and the 3rd was the only one who helped me. I got a rescheduled appointment for Saturday July 10th. When the driver came, the refrigerator had a manufacturing issue (the right door wouldn’t seal) Is it not the responsibility of the drivers and the people loading up the items into the truck to double check if the products meet the satisfactory needs? Now I have to wait until Tuesday July 13th! 7 DAYS AFTER THE ORDER DATE!!!

I have spoken to 8 different representatives all of which have failed to transfer me over to a manager or higher up. I’m either put on hold or dismissed or even getting hung up on. I don’t understand why I have to wait this long after being promised a 2 day delivery. If this was a tv or stereo, I wouldn’t be this upset, but this is a refrigerator that I need to put food in. It’s a necessity. I spent nearly $1800 for this fridge and have to continue to purchase take out food 3x a day for now 7days. All of this adds up and this is money that I can’t afford to lose considering the fact that I spent that much on a fridge. I have been trying to speak to a manager or higher up this entire time and apparently, these people don’t exist! I really don’t understand how you guys can be unprofessional and uncaring towards your paid customers. If I went to a competitor and even spent a couple hundred dollars more, I still would’ve saved money and have my fridge by now. This is unacceptable.

Thanks so much for joining our community here on the Best Buy Forums. As a refrigerator is a constantly used appliance, I can understand being eager for your order to arrive. I am sorry to hear that the unit was not delivered in the condition that you expected. I see that you are exciting a new unit today! Has the appointment already taken place? If so, how did this go? If not, is this something you would like me to check in on for you?
