Scheduled delivery for a treadmill today between 2:00pm and 6:00pm, we had to attend a funeral in the morning, and planned to be back home before 2:00PM. The driver called me at 11:30 AM and was really upset I wouldn't be home to recieve the delivery. I told him I would get home as soon as I could, and they waited there in front of my house until I arrived at 1:30PM.
Then they told me they could not deliver the item into the room it belongs in because it's too heavy and they need 4 people, and more equipment... but they could just unload it out of the truck and leave it there. I refused the delivery. Their supervisor called me right after. Told me the same thing... it was too heavy to deliver into the house, and I would have to just let them drop it off. I refused again.
Now I have rescheduled with Best Buy but I have low expectations the rescheduled delivery will be any different, I plan to just cancel the order at this point Best Buy contracts with terrible delivery crews. Why did they depart with the item at all if they knew it was too heavy to deliver? I really hope someone is holding them accountable.

The rescheduled delivery date was today. The window this time was 9:00AM to 1:00PM and the driver was ringing my doorbell at 7:30AM while we were arranging breakfast for the kids.
They also only showed up with 2 people, even though an item this heavy requires 4 people to move. The whole point of rescheduling was to have 4 people show up so they could deliver it.
These guys were really great though and still delivered it with just 2 of them into the correct room... but not ideal for them or best buy to have to deliver such a heavy item by themselves.
Delivery is now complete, but, this is the last time I order a major appliance/heavy item from Best Buy.
