Sedgewick Bestbuy ISSUES

We bought a dryer back in June. The product was delivered and the installer noticed it was missing parts, a hinge. They agreed to come back when the part came in to address the matter. They did not do so. I called repeatedly, another appointment was set up. They came out again, added the part and then put too short a venting tube off the back of the dryer. It kept popping loose in use. So, I called again. The guys came out for a 3rd time, corrected the hose, and managed to disconnect my washing machine in the process. My basement was flooded, my laminate floor, destroyed. My husband missed 6 hours of work to clean up the flood.

 

We were assigned a claim number and adjuster with Sedgewick. I sent all of the pictures of the damages, receipts, and estimates for repair to this adjuster. It has been a month. She does not return out calls or emails. Sedgwick is an incredibly dishonorable company. Best Buy damaged our home. Now, Best Buy and their insurance company Sedgwick, should correct the matter. Instead, they hope we will go away.

 

This whole experience has been so disheartening. I would advice you to think long an hard before buying an appliance from Best Buy. They do not back up the work of their employees and the Sedgwick company is a group of schisters. I will never buy from Best Buy again.
