A Samsung technician confirmed today that a microwave for my rental purchased online along with installation and old product removal at BestBuy.com is not working because it was damaged during the installation by and needs to be replaced. According to the technician, the replacement cannot be covered by the warranty as the installation damage by Best Buy caused the problem.
Any chance of someone at Best Buy able to resolve this issue? I have the Samsung report and the technician also has video and photos of the damage, which I can forward to the Best Buy rep who responds.

Hey BB users,
Has anyone out there had this kind of experience and what was the outcome? Trying to evaluate pursuing the issue further or cutting my losses. Balancing dollars with stress.
The scenario is, Best Buy installation damages the appliance causing failure, Samsung's warranty is invalidated. Best Buy can either agree or dispute Samsung's accessment. In either case, what are the policies directions Best Buy has taken?
